L I S T E N // A mix that depicts the “could be” evolving relationship between Bonnie Bennett and Damon Salvatore, ending with Bonnie’s death.
It’s an evil you should recognise
Maybe you, maybe you don’t .
‘cause I don’t wanna lose you now
I’m looking right at the other half of me
Bamon Week → day 4: Historical AU
(au/ah, set during the 60’s and inspired by the film Bonnie & Clyde (1967))
Bonnie is a small town girl bored with her life and her job as a waitress until she meets Damon, an intriguing bank robber, and decides to take up with him and become his partner in crime.
“You’re like me. You want different things. You’ve got something better than being a waitress. You and me travelling together. We could cut a pach clean across this state and Kansas and Missouri and Oklahoma and everybody would know about it. You listen to me, Miss Bonnie Bennett. Now how would you like to go walking into the dinning room of Adolphus Hotel in Dallas wearing a nice silk dress and have everybody waiting on you? Would you like that? That seems like a lot to ask? That isn’t enough for you. You’ve got a right to that.”
